Company

Loop is made by TJH/CO LIMITED, trading as THEODORE HQ, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16589593, at Fairway House, Links Business, Fortran Rd, St. Mellons, Cardiff, CF3 0LT, United Kingdom. Reach us at support@theodorehq.com. These terms apply when you download or buy Loop.

Your 14-Day Free Trial

Every feature works for 14 days from first launch. There is no account with us, no card details and nothing to cancel. When the trial ends, Loop stops making new links until you enter a licence key. Links you have already sent stay in your own account and keep working. Nothing is taken from you automatically, because we have no way to take it.

Your Licence

When you buy Loop you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence. Your purchase includes every future update, free, for as long as you use Loop. There is no subscription.

You can move a licence between Macs by deactivating it on one and activating it on another.

Upgrades

If you buy Pro and later need Team, or buy Team for 5 people and later need 10, you pay the difference between the two prices on the day you upgrade, and nothing more. Email support@theodorehq.com and we will send you a link.

Acceptable Use

You are responsible for what you share with Loop and for having the right to share it. Don’t use Loop to share anything unlawful, harmful or infringing, to deceive people into giving their details, or to send malware or spam. We may revoke a licence used this way.

Restrictions

You may not:

Price and Payment

Pro costs $49, once. Team costs $199 for up to 5 people or $349 for up to 10, once. Payment is handled by Polar, who act as the Merchant of Record and the seller for your purchase, using Stripe to process the payment. We never see or receive your card details. Any sales tax or VAT is calculated and shown by Polar at checkout.

Price Comparisons

The Renting chart on our home page and our comparison pages compare Loop with each tool’s paid plan billed yearly, usually the cheapest that adds your own branding; each page names the plan it uses. The chart shows one year, for one person under Pro and five people under Team. We read every price from the tool’s own pricing page on 15 October 2026. Prices in pounds are shown in dollars at $1.3225 to the pound, the rate on 5 October 2026. Their prices may have changed since.

Cloudflare

Loop keeps your files, links and the records of who opened them in your own Cloudflare account, under your own agreement with Cloudflare. We have no access to that account’s contents and could not read or lose them if we tried.

Ours: the app, its updates, and answering your questions about both. Yours: your Cloudflare account and anything Cloudflare charges for it (storage is free up to 10 GB a month), your domain, the files you share, and the personal data of the people you share them with, for which you are the controller. The Privacy Policy sets out what a link page records.

Refunds

If Loop isn’t right for you, email support@theodorehq.com within 14 days of buying and we’ll refund you in full.

The free trial also lets you use every feature for two weeks before you spend anything.

Your Statutory Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the digital content you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described on this website. If it is not, you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, as the law provides. These statutory rights override anything in this document, and nothing here removes them. To make a claim, email support@theodorehq.com; we respond within 30 days.

App Updates

Loop checks for updates in the background and offers to install them. Updates are signed, and the app verifies that signature before installing anything.

Requirements

macOS 14 or later, and a free Cloudflare account. Screen recording needs macOS 15.

Support

Pro includes email support and Team includes priority email support. Both mean a person reading support@theodorehq.com and replying. Support covers Loop itself; it does not extend to your Cloudflare account or your domain, although we will usually have a look anyway.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with Loop is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We are not responsible for Cloudflare’s service, which you use under your own agreement with them. We do not limit or exclude liability for fraud, for gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else UK law does not permit us to limit, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Ending Your Licence

We may revoke a licence if it was obtained by fraud, if a chargeback is raised without contacting us first to resolve the problem, or if it is redistributed in breach of these terms. We will email you before doing so wherever we can. Links you have already sent stay in your own account.

Privacy

What little we hold, and why, is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any right you have to bring proceedings where you live, if your local consumer-protection law gives you that right.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, email active customers at least fourteen days before they take effect. Changes that reduce your rights do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.
