Frill's figures read from frill.co/pricing on 23 August 2026, with the yearly column read in a browser because the toggle renders client-side. Their add-on prices are not published, and no board count appears anywhere on the page, so neither is stated here.

Read the entry tier twice

$22 a month billed yearly is the cheapest headline in this category and Frill deserves credit for it. What that tier includes is where the care is needed.

Fifty active ideas. That is the Startup cap, and a feedback board that works will pass it inside a year. Unlimited ideas means Business at $44 a month billed yearly, which is $528 a year.

Privacy is an add-on. Keeping a board private, pre-approving ideas and users, invite-only access: all sold as a separate Privacy add-on on Startup and Business, and only included from Growth at $136 a month. The add-on price is not published anywhere on their pricing page, so nobody can tell you what it costs without asking.

Frill do tick "remove tagline" on all four tiers, which is fairer than most. Full white labelling, meaning the tagline, the favicon and email from your own domain, is a separate add-on listed as included at Growth.

What Docket is

Docket arrives as a GitHub repository you copy into your own account. It gives you a feedback board, a public roadmap, a changelog, an FAQ and a testimonials wall, on your own domain, for as many products as you ship. Every item a customer submits is written into your repository as a Markdown file, so there is no database and nothing to be billed for by the row.

The part that is genuinely different is the agentic side: scheduled jobs draft the first reply in your voice, write the changelog from what you actually shipped, and tell everybody who voted for something when it lands. You approve; it sends.

What Frill is

Frill is a feedback board with two things around it that most of this category does not have. The first is surveys: NPS, CSAT, quick polls, idea polls and open feedback, embedded inside your own product rather than sent as a link. The second is announcements, which is their changelog with scheduling, boosting, segmentation, translations and an embeddable widget.

It also carries the triage tools that only start to matter at volume: similar-idea detection, smart merge, a priority matrix with custom factors, and voting on a customer's behalf. There is a one-click Canny importer. Unlimited teammates and unlimited tracked users on every tier, which is the right pricing shape.

Where Frill is the better buy

Is there a free version of Frill?

Frill does not have a free tier. Fourteen days, no card required, then it stops.

Docket's free edition never expires: one board on your own domain, unlimited ideas, unlimited users, and no automation.

So which should you pick?

Pick Frill if the surveys are the reason you are buying. Embedded NPS and CSAT alongside a feedback board is a genuinely good combination and it is the thing Frill does that nobody else here does as well.

Pick Docket if you want the board itself to be uncapped, private by default and paid for once.
