Featurebase's figures read from featurebase.app/pricing on 23 August 2026. Every tier is billed yearly, and AI resolutions cost $0.49 each on top. Seven tools here have closed or been sold since January 2025: the graveyard.
What three years costs
Same job, same three years. The monthly figure is not the point. One of these two stops, and the other does not.
That is one seat. On three people Featurebase is $3,132. Docket is still $99.
Two numbers worth sitting with
The first is the seat. Featurebase is priced per teammate with full access, so the bill multiplies by the size of your team. One person is $348 a year. Three is $1,044 a year, which is more than ten times what Docket costs in total. Docket has no concept of a seat, because there is nothing to log in to.
The second is the badge. Removing Featurebase branding is a $69 a month add-on, and it is only sold on Professional at $59 per seat per month or above. Taking a logo off costs $828 a year, on top of a plan that already costs $708 a year for one person. Docket's badge lifts at $99, once.
Neither of these is a trick. They are ordinary SaaS pricing. They are simply very expensive if what you wanted was a feedback board.
What Docket is
Docket arrives as your own copy, in your own GitHub account. It gives you a feedback board, a public roadmap, a changelog, an FAQ and a testimonials wall, on your own domain, for as many products as you ship. Everything a customer sends you is kept in your own copy, so there is no database behind it and nothing that can be billed by the row.
The part that is different is the agentic side: scheduled jobs draft the first reply in your voice, write the changelog from what you shipped, and tell everybody who voted for something when it lands. You approve; it sends.
What Featurebase is
Featurebase is much more than a feedback board, and judging it as one is unfair. It is a full helpdesk with live chat, an omnichannel inbox, ticketing, SLAs and round-robin assignment. It is a help centre with unlimited articles, AI search, multilingual AI translation and version history. It runs NPS and CSAT surveys, a changelog with in-app widgets, and outbound email.
It carries SOC 2 Type II and GDPR, hosts in the Netherlands and Germany, and supports SCIM provisioning. There is an 86% discount for companies under two years old with fewer than six people, which changes the arithmetic considerably if you qualify.

Where Docket wins
- No seats. The second person on your team costs nothing, and so does the tenth.
- The badge lifts at $99. Featurebase charges $828 a year for the same thing, and only on a plan you have to move up to first.
- No product cap. Their free tier is one board and Growth is five. Docket has no cap on any tier.
- Your own domain from free. Theirs starts at Growth.
- Private by construction. Nothing is public until you publish it. Featurebase puts board privacy on Professional.
- It is yours. The code, the files, and every word a customer sent you.
Best for: One person or a small team shipping software who wants the board, roadmap, changelog and FAQ on their own domain, paid for once at $99.
Not for: Anyone who wants a vendor to run it for them. There is no hosted version, you set it up in your own GitHub account, and it is newer and smaller than Canny or Productboard.
Where Featurebase is the better buy
- It is a suite and you may need a suite. If you are also buying a helpdesk and a help centre, one vendor for all three is cheaper and simpler than three.
- Compliance is done. SOC 2 Type II, EU hosting and SCIM are not things running it yourself gives you, and above a certain customer size they are the whole decision.
- The AI answers tickets. Their Fibi agent resolves support conversations and is billed per resolution rather than per ticket, which is a way to price it.
- One-click importers. Canny, Productboard, Frill, Beamer, Intercom, Zendesk and Crisp, all supported.
- The startup discount is real. 86% off plus a year of their AI, for young small companies. If you qualify, the comparison above changes shape entirely.
Best for: A team that wants a helpdesk, a help centre and a feedback board from one vendor, with the best design in the category.
Not for: A team of more than one or two people on a budget. Seats compound at $29 each a month billed yearly, and removing the badge is a further $69 a month on Professional or above.
Is there a free version of Featurebase?
Featurebase's free plan is one seat, one board and one roadmap, with unlimited end users and posts and fifty help-centre articles. No AI. Paid plans get a ten-day trial with no card.
Docket's free edition is one board with unlimited everything else, on your own domain, and it never expires.
So which should you pick?
Pick Docket if what you wanted was the board, the roadmap and the changelog. It is $99 once for every product you ship, with nobody counted and no separate charge to take the badge off.
Pick Featurebase if the feedback board is one of three or four things you are buying, or if you want a help centre and live chat from the same vendor. If it is the board you want, you are paying per person for a suite you will not use, and Docket is $99 once.
