What does Upvoty do well?

Upvoty is worth crediting before listing what replaces it. Every tier, including the $15-a-month Power plan billed monthly, gives unlimited tracked users, the opposite of Canny.io's per-user pricing that climbs as a board grows. Upvoty also removes its own branding at that same $15 entry price, the cheapest badge removal in this category on some tools (Featurebase, by contrast, charges $69 a month extra for the same thing). The portal and its emails run in 20 or more languages, there's a hosted MCP server for AI agents, and Upvoty backs its pricing with roughly 186 blog posts and a compare hub naming around 24 rivals. Only Hyper, at $49 a month, lifts the one-project cap that Power and Super sit under; boards within a project are unlimited at every tier. What isn't published is any annual discount: Upvoty's page carries a "Save 10%" toggle whose numbers never appear in the page's own code, so only the monthly prices can be stated with confidence, and there's no free tier, only a 14-day trial.

Which Upvoty alternative is cheapest?

Frill.co is the cheapest live subscription among the alternatives, at $22 a month billed yearly ($25 if billed monthly), working out to $792 over three years, though its board count at entry isn't confirmed against its own pricing page. UserJot and Nolt.io both land at $29 a month, $348 a year, $1,044 over three years: UserJot billed monthly with no annual commitment and 2 boards free, Nolt.io billed yearly ($39 monthly) with only 1 board at entry. Featurebase matches that $29-a-month figure per seat, so its three-year total only holds for a single person. None of these beats Upvoty's own $15-a-month Power plan on the sticker price, and none of them include Upvoty's unlimited tracked users at their entry tier. Which alternative fits a team already using Intercom or Salesforce?

Canny.io is the one built for a team with an existing support stack. At $79 a month billed yearly ($99 monthly), its Autopilot AI reads conversations from Intercom, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gong and Zoom and captures, dedupes and triages feedback without anyone filing anything, and it syncs to HubSpot and Salesforce so requests can be weighted by account value. It carries SOC 2, CCPA and GDPR, and even its free tier, 25 tracked users, gets unlimited and private boards. The catch is the pricing model: Canny.io charges per tracked user, and that number only ever rises, since anyone who posts, votes or comments counts permanently. At entry it's $948 a year; by 5,000 tracked users, still on yearly billing, it's $1,079 a month. That full curve is published only in Canny.io's own help centre, not on its marketing pricing page, so check it before assuming the $79 headline is the number your board will actually reach.

Is there a free alternative to Upvoty?

Upvoty itself has no free tier, only a 14-day trial. Among the tools here, Docket's core board is free forever, with no card and no account required: bugs and feature requests, a public roadmap, changelog, FAQ, testimonials and a custom domain, all carrying a Docket badge. It doesn't meter by tracked user at all, on any tier, so there's no equivalent to Upvoty's "unlimited tracked users" claim to make, since Docket never counted them in the first place. Paid Docket, if badge removal or automated workflows matter, is $99 once for Pro or $249 once for Studio, with unlimited products on every tier and no recurring bill behind either number.

How should you actually decide between Upvoty and its alternatives?

Upvoty is genuinely hard to beat on price and simplicity if unlimited tracked users and cheap badge removal are what matter, and its 20-plus languages are a real advantage for anything non-English. Move to Canny.io if a support stack in Intercom, Zendesk or Salesforce is already running and the extra cost buys back staff time. Move to UserJot or Nolt.io for a Canny.io-style board without Canny.io's growing per-user bill. Move to Frill.co if built-in NPS and CSAT surveys matter alongside the board itself.
