Before You Start

1
Take your copy of Docket
This creates a repository under your own GitHub account with Docket in it. Your customers' reports live there, and your site is published from it. Nothing to accept, and nobody to wait for.

2
Open it in your coding agent
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, whichever you already use. Point it at the repository you just created. Nothing to install first.
-
3
Give your agent this line
Then leave it alone. It asks about your company and your products, then walks you through a few buttons in GitHub and your hosting account. No git, and no code.
Install Docket by following INSTALL.md. Ask me anything. How you know it workedYour agent tells you every check has passed. Ask it to run
npm run checkat any point and it will say, in plain English, what is still missing.
How to get set up
Your agent does the work. These four things are the only parts it needs from you.
- Answer a few questions. Your company, your website, your support address, and which products you want boards for.
- Create one GitHub token. This is what lets your site save what customers send you. Your agent shows you where, and never asks you to paste it into the chat.
- Pick a host. Netlify or Cloudflare if you have no preference. Both are free, and both are fine for business use.
- Point a subdomain at it. Something like
support.yourcompany.com. No domain yet is fine: start on your host's free address.
It answers, notifies and updates itself, so your support centre runs without you.
