Four days and £6 to produce something the app already holds. Agreed, and it should pay for itself quickly.

Shipped. Customers download any month as a PDF with the account details and the bank's stamp on it, and there is a combined download for a whole year.
Your desk should see the postal requests fall off over the next couple of statement cycles.
