About
TablePlus is a native database client that treats fourteen-plus engines, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redshift, ClickHouse and BigQuery, as first-class citizens in one fast, multi-tab window. Data is edited inline like a spreadsheet, a code review pane shows every pending change before it is committed, and safe mode guards production databases against the query you will regret. The SQL editor brings proper autocomplete and syntax highlighting.
Over 100,000 developers use it, including teams at Microsoft, Amazon and SpaceX, and it remains refreshingly old-fashioned about payment: $99 buys a perpetual Basic licence with a year of updates, no subscription. The free tier is fully functional but capped at two open tabs. Version 7.1 shipped in May 2026 with a refreshed interface, native diagrams and MCP support for AI-assisted workflows.
