Proxyman is a debugging proxy that captures, decrypts and inspects HTTP and HTTPS traffic in a native macOS interface, the tool you reach for when an API misbehaves and the logs will not say why. SSL interception shows encrypted traffic in plain text, breakpoints let you edit requests and responses mid-flight, and Map Local and Map Remote swap live responses for mocked ones without touching a server. It debugs iOS simulators, iOS and Android devices, WebSockets and GraphQL.
A JavaScript scripting engine automates the fiddly cases, and version 6.12, current in July 2026, pairs with Claude through Model Context Protocol for AI-assisted debugging.
