Tideline
4From national hydrographic offices, refreshed every six hours, with the station and its last update shown at the bottom of the panel so you can always see how fresh a reading is.
Not by hand, but tell us the harbour and we will add it if there is a published station near enough to be honest about. Most requests are live within a fortnight.
Yes. A week of predictions for your saved stations is cached, so the menu bar keeps reading on a boat or in a valley. Surf forecasts need a connection and say so rather than showing you something stale.
Almost always because the board quotes a different station, sometimes miles away. Tap the reading to see which station you are on and how far it is from you.
Kettle
4No. You can share a group as a link, and anyone can see the split and mark themselves as paid in a browser. The app adds reminders and history.
Yes, by share, by percentage, or by typing exact amounts. Anything left over after rounding goes to whoever paid, rather than quietly disappearing.
All the common ones, with the rate fixed on the day the expense was added so a settled group never quietly changes value afterwards.
It moves to Settled and stops sending reminders, but nothing is deleted. You can reopen it, and the history stays readable for as long as you keep the group.
Crag
4Only the diff you are reviewing, and only when you ask for a review. Nothing is stored after the review is returned, and nothing is used for training. Repositories you mark private in settings are never sent at all.
TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, Ruby, Swift and Rust properly. Anything else gets a general review that is honest about being general.
Yes. One licence covers you on every machine and every repository, at work or at home. Your employer does not need a separate one for you.
Only if you ask it to. By default the review appears in the editor and nowhere else, so nothing you are still thinking about is posted where colleagues can read it.
Bramble
4No. View access is enough, and Bramble never writes to your file. It reads the frames you select and produces the notes beside them.
Yes. Pick which sections appear and in what order, and save it as a preset your team can share, so handover notes read the same whoever wrote them.
Wherever you paste them. They copy as Markdown, which keeps its headings in Linear, Notion and GitHub, and as plain text everywhere else.
Yes, though only the frames you select are read rather than the whole document, which is what keeps it quick on files with hundreds of screens.
